Festa de la Clotxa (Clotxa Festival)
The clotxa is the traditional dish par excellence of the Ribera d'Ebre; it says a lot about the region's farming roots and at the same time highlights the simplicity and richness of its cuisine.

In recent years, the championing of the clotxa has led to its presence in private homes as well as in various expressions of our popular culture and in many of the restaurants of the Ribera d'Ebre, which, with imagination and professionalism, have introduced new formats that enrich this traditional dish even further.
For all these reasons, the Ribera d'Ebre County Council, together with the region's tourism business associations and its restaurateurs, has established a popular festival with the clotxa as its main star, which every March, year after year and travelling from town to town, brings together many people from all over the country to taste this popular, traditional cuisine and enjoy the attractions of the municipalities.
