Festa de l'Aiguardent (Aiguardent Festival)
Making wine and aiguardent (pomace brandy) was an important part of Prat de Comte's local economy until first the phylloxera plague and then the Civil War forced the abandonment of vine growing.
Since 2001, however, the villagers have wanted to revive this tradition, which is why they organise the Festa de l'Aiguardent.

So, on the second weekend of October, the village's houses open their doors to show their stills and offer a tasting of homemade aiguardent and traditional pastries.
Visitors can buy this liquor and enjoy the activities running alongside the fair, such as parades, concerts, a showcase of local associations and a gathering of jota groups.
