Where the coast transforms
End the day at l'Arenal, where rocky coves give way to a long beach of fine sand and calm waters, a prelude to the great landscapes of the Delta.
Understanding the Delta from within
Start in Deltebre discovering how water has shaped the nature and life of the territory, among traditional barraques (Delta huts), an authentic llaüt and the river fauna aquarium at the Ecomuseum.
Cycling among rice fields and dunes
Follow the Camí de Sirga from Deltebre to the river mouth, climb to the Zigurat viewpoint and continue to Riumar, among rice fields, wetlands and its characteristic dune ridge.
Between river, history and territory
Make a first stop in Amposta to discover the Pont Penjant (Suspension Bridge), symbol of the city, and the Museu de les Terres de l'Ebre, a gateway to the history, archaeology and landscapes of the territory.
Wetlands full of life
Visit the lagoons of l'Encanyissada and la Tancada, stop at the Casa de Fusta and discover at MónNatura Delta a landscape where waterbirds, salt pans and traditional activities live side by side.
Where the Delta opens to the sea
Cross the singular landscape of the Trabucador and continue to Alfacs Bay, with a stop at the Guardiola viewpoint to look out over the Delta, the bay and the Serra del Montsià from the heights.
Savouring the landscape from the water
Sail across the bay to a mussel farm, discover how mussels and oysters are farmed and end the experience with a tasting on the water, sailing near the Salines de la Trinitat and the Punta de la Banya.
From fishing port to Iberian memory
If you want to extend the trip southwards, discover the seafaring atmosphere of les Cases d'Alcanar and visit the Moleta del Remei, one of the great testimonies of Iberian culture in the territory.
