Cala Mosques
Close to the Les Tres Cales housing estate, Cala Mosques, in L’Ametlla de Mar, in the north of the Terres de l’Ebre, is a small beach about 25 metres long by 20 wide, partly surrounded by Aleppo pines, forming a natural bay whose waters are no more than six metres deep.

Cala Mosques has a floor of fine golden sand mixed with small pebbles, and a gentle slope into the water. Although it is right next to the Les Tres Cales housing estate and offers several services, such as a beach bar, parking and showers, Cala Mosques is usually quiet. Like other coves in L’Ametlla de Mar, its crystal-clear waters are coveted by scuba divers and snorkellers, and even more so here, as it is the usual route to the Punta Galera area, which is very rich in marine life and where spearfishing is permitted.
If you enjoy sailing, just two kilometres away is the yacht club of the Calafat housing estate, with a wide range of water sports, such as kayaking and canoeing, as well as sailing.
