place 43860 Calafat, Tarragona, Catalonia

Cala Llobeta is a small cove in L’Ametlla de Mar, in the north of the Terres de l’Ebre, rather pebbly and contrasting with the sandy beaches around it. These features make it a quiet cove with moderate occupancy. Cala Llobeta can be reached by car or on foot, and its main services are a shower, bins and daily cleaning; it is also suitable for scuba diving.

More information

Cala Llobeta, like other pebbly coves in L’Ametlla de Mar, such as Cementiri and Arandes, hugs the coast as if created to complement the softness of the sandy beaches around it. They are small, about 30 metres wide by 30 metres long.

To reach Cala Llobeta, take the N-340 road and enter the Calafat housing estate. Exit 39 of the A-7 motorway is the closest to the beach. However, the beach is not properly signposted, so it is hard to find by car.
