Platja de la Marquesa
Platja de la Marquesa, in Deltebre, is one of the most beautiful and best-loved beaches in the whole Ebro Delta Natural Park. A little over a kilometre long and 110 metres wide, Platja de la Marquesa stands out for its dunes, among the best preserved in the Delta, which are found not only on the sand but also extend a few metres into the sea.
More information
Platja de la Marquesa lies south of the Fangar peninsula and is practically unspoilt. Platja de la Marquesa, in the Terres de l’Ebre, is very quiet, which lets you enjoy the sun and relax in a privileged setting. It is also a beach with the ‘Blue Flag’ quality certificate, with fine sand and calm waters, which is nudist and also allows pets as long as they are on a lead, so as not to bother other people. Platja de la Marquesa has no services, but it does have a restaurant, Vascos, serving typical Delta cuisine.
Platja de la Marquesa is reached by car on the TV-3451 road. On the A-7 motorway take exit 39 for L’Ampolla - Deltebre, and from there join the TV-3451. Vehicles can be left along the access tracks to the beach and in the wide open spaces on either side.
