From la Marquesa beach to the Fangar lighthouse

This walk has no waymarks or signposts: you follow the water's edge, from la Marquesa beach to the Punta del Fangar lighthouse, with the dunes on one side and the bay on the other.

Do it at dusk if you can. The afternoon light on the dunes is what people remember years later. On full-moon nights, night-time outings are organised: the empty beach, the lighthouse in the distance and the sound of the water.
