Cala Bon Capó
Cala Bon Capó, in L’Ametlla de Mar, in the north of the Terres de l’Ebre, is a unique and picturesque little cove with a character of its own, for several reasons. For one, there is the landscape around it, below the ravine of the same name and at the foot of a luxury four-star hotel. But Cala Bon Capó is also prized for its seabed, made up of rock formations that form a winding course of spectacular passages and cavities.
More information
The route is also quite easy, so as well as experienced divers it suits beginners. Cala Bon Capó, about 90 metres long by 20 wide, is made of fine golden sand mixed with small pebbles, and offers services such as showers, parking and a restaurant-bar.
The beach lies at the foot of the Hotel Ametlla Mar, which also makes it a very popular spot with families, thanks to the wide range of extra services it offers, such as themed excursions and a variety of sports and water activities.
