More information

Its inner slope drops down to the Ebro, and to the south and south-east it continues into the Serra del Boix. The rugged Cardó valley, open to the north-west, is drained by the Barranc de Cardó, a tributary on the left bank of the Ebro.

The vegetation on the shaded side is notable for holm oaks, pine woods and some oaks. On the sunny side you find shrubs such as mastic, rosemary or heather.
