Dolça Tardor: Festa del Mostillo i Productes d'Artesania (Sweet Autumn: Mostillo Festival and Crafts)

In the first week of October in Horta de Sant Joan there is a showcase of craft products, intended as a tribute to local traditions and customs. You can find the very best of what autumn has to offer. This includes grapes, whose must is used to make "el mostillo", made with flour and nuts. A delicious dessert, a custom of wine-growing areas and the result of great craftsmanship and home cooking. All day long you can taste the sweets and buy them. There are also demonstrations of old trades and stalls of craftspeople and crafts. The festival is enlivened by an entertainment group and ends with a communal tea-supper.
