Platja Migjorn

place 43877 Tarragona, Catalonia

Platja de Migjorn, also called Platja de l’Alfacada and Platja de Buda, in the municipality of Sant Jaume d’Enveja, in the Terres de l’Ebre, is one of the most unspoilt beaches on the Ebre coast, which is explained by the fact that it can only be visited twice a year, coinciding with the rice harvest.

More information

At the mouth of the Ebro and facing Illa de Buda, Platja de Migjorn is an unspoilt paradise where nudism is usually practised. Before reaching Platja de Migjorn we recommend visiting the Migjorn viewpoint, where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Alfacada lagoon and Illa de Buda, as well as of the many bird colonies that live in the area.

We also recommend a walk around Finca del Violí, another natural area with several bird-watching points, where you can enjoy the native flora and fauna.

Platja del Migjorn is also one of the longest beaches in the Terres de l’Ebre. More than two and a half kilometres long by about 50 wide, Platja del Migjorn is made of fine golden sand and its waters are calm. Migjorn also offers services such as a parking area, a restaurant-bar, showers and portable toilets.
