Platja del Serrallo
Platja del Serrallo, or La Platjola, in Sant Jaume d’Enveja, is the most deserted and unspoilt beach in the Terres de l’Ebre. Do not expect any facilities here, apart from parking and a shower, but the feeling of solitude, peace and quiet that this place radiates is priceless.
More information
Nudism is usually associated with small, intimate, discreet coves, but Platja del Serrallo is one of the few places on the whole Catalan coast where you can practise naturism in completely open spaces. Platja del Serrallo is also linked to Platja de Migjorn by a pleasant walk.
This short excursion will help you understand how the Ebro Delta’s drainage system works, through the discharge sluices. Very close by you can also visit and admire the lagoon of La Platjola.
Sizeable, more than 3 kilometres long and 100 wide, Platja del Serrallo borders inland a landscape of channels, watery spots and wetlands of immense ecological value, while in front it is bathed by placid, warm waters. Although it is away from the town, Platja del Serrallo is easy to reach by car, on foot or by bicycle, one of the usual means of transport in the area.
