Platja dels Pinets, or de l’Arquitecte, in L’Ampolla, in the Terres de l’Ebre, lies next to the L’Ampolla marina and has a floor of fine golden sand mixed with small pebbles.

With calm waters and a gentle entry into the sea, Platja dels Pinets, about 130 metres long by about 15 wide, is very popular even though it has almost no services.
The two main attractions of Platja dels Pinets are, first, that being in the Gulf of Sant Jordi it is very rich in molluscs, which explains the regular presence of anglers. And second, its closeness to the Port Flamingo housing estate and the L’Ampolla marina, with 433 moorings. In front of the Flamingo estate is the little cove of Els Pinets; the marina offers many activities, notably sailing and diving courses for all levels.
Its closeness to El Fangar also makes it a very prized beach for fishing the species that live there, such as gilthead bream, sea bass, bonito or white seabream.
