Platja de l’Estanyet
Platja de l’Estanyet, in Alcanar, in the Terres de l’Ebre, is one of the most unspoilt beaches in this part of the Ebre coast, which makes it ideal for those looking for peace for sunbathing and swimming, but also for scuba diving or rod fishing, two activities often practised here.
More information
As its name suggests (“little pond”), Platja de l’Estanyet was once a wetland that held a small pond. Sizeable, about 800 metres long by about 40 wide, Platja de l’Estanyet offers minimal services, such as daily cleaning and parking, but it has Càmping Estanyet right next to it and an excellent choice of places to eat very close. Its floor is made of small pebbles and its waters are calm.
A curious feature of Platja de l’Estanyet is that it still has machine-gun nests from the Spanish Civil War.
