Firebre

The village of Benifallet lies at the foot of the Serra de Cardó right beside the Ebro. For this reason, the village's history is closely linked to the presence of the river. The navigability project and river tourism have enhanced the attractions of its municipality. That is why on the second weekend of June it hosts Firebre, the Tourism, River Navigation and Adventure Fair. The aim of this event is to promote and publicise services and economic activities linked to the river. The programme is complemented by guided visits to the Coves Meravelles caves, trips on a llagut (traditional river barge) along the river and tasting of local cuisine in the village's restaurants.
