Fira del Cítric (Citrus Fair)

In April, the towns of the Baix Ebre region, an area with a long tradition of fruit growing, have a must-attend annual appointment in Xerta. The Fira del Cítric is a showcase to promote the region's oranges, but also other citrus fruits such as lemons or mandarins, as well as the whole range of craft products made from these fruits. Besides the ten or so stands where you can find cured meats, cooked dishes and citrus liqueurs, among others, you can take part in a good handful of cultural activities, among which the concerts, competitions and theatre performances stand out.
