Festa de la Cirera (Cherry Festival)
On the second Sunday of June Miravet devotes the day to one of its main crops: the cherry. This town in the Ribera d'Ebre accounts for 40% of the total cherry production in Catalonia.

Throughout the day there are exhibitions on new varieties, talks about this fruit, a communal paella by the river, competitions for coques (flatbreads) and cherry-stone spitting, and tastings of cherry liqueur.
It all comes with entertainment and dancing until the early hours.
