Ribera d'Ebre Peaches

It is the main sweet fruit crop of the Ribera d'Ebre, with 1,600 hectares, since irrigated plantations were introduced in the Terres de l'Ebre. In this comarca they grow white-fleshed, red-skinned peaches; yellow-fleshed, red-skinned peaches, which predominate, with very juicy flesh and an intense flavour; pavia, with firm yellow flesh and yellow skin with red tones; and nectarines.

It is early-ripening and very sweet thanks to the high spring temperatures, which make it ripen sooner and give it more sugar.
