La Llotja de Tortosa
Parc Municipal Teodoro Gonzalez 43500 Tortosa , El Baix Ebre, Tarragona, Catalonia
The Llotja (exchange) of Tortosa was built in the mid-14th century on the left bank of the River Ebro, near today's Plaça de la Pau, next to the municipal market. It was a goods warehouse that soon became a centre of business and contracting and an expression of the city's mercantile importance.

In the mid-17th century part of the building was turned into a military arsenal and, finally, in 1716 it ceased to operate as a trading centre.
In 1933 the Llotja was moved stone by stone to the Modernista gardens of Parc Teodor González, where it can still be visited today.
