Picasso Centre of Horta de Sant Joan

To preserve and promote the legacy the Málaga-born painter left in this municipality, the Picasso Centre displays facsimile reproductions of almost 200 works made during the two stays the artist spent in the town, as well as other paintings made in Barcelona or Paris but inspired by the landscape of Horta.

The Picasso Centre is housed in the old hospital, a Renaissance-style building that was built to take in the sick and passers-by.
