Platja de les Avellanes is right in the middle of L’Ampolla, so it is an urban beach, accessible to everyone. Surrounded by a beautiful promenade, we recommend stopping at the viewpoint to capture the best snapshots, especially at sunrise and sunset.

Being in an urban area, the beach stands out for its services, especially the wide variety of restaurants and bars, most of them serving excellent traditional local cuisine.
Platja de les Avellanes has been awarded the Blue Flag repeatedly for its high quality and its range of services and facilities. Here, for example, you can enjoy WiFi, and the beach also has a lifeguard, beach bars, showers and public toilets, foot-rinses and more. The beach is wheelchair accessible.
Medium-sized, about 200 metres long by 40 wide, Platja de les Avellanes hosts many tournaments and sports activities, such as beach volleyball and beach football, as well as water sports.
Platja de les Avellanes is reached by the N-340 road and, by motorway, via exit 39A.
