Cala Moros

place 43519 Catalonia

Peaceful, secluded, with fine golden sand, small pebbles and crystal-clear waters. Platja de Cala Moros, in El Perelló, is one of the paradise beaches of the Terres de l’Ebre. Two and a half kilometres from the Torre dels Moros, this pretty cove, which combines golden sand with pebbles and reddish rocks, offers swimmers (and visitors) splendid views of the Ebro Delta.

More information

Cala Moros holds the ‘Blue Flag’ quality certificate and has showers and signposting. Platja de Cala Moros is a little jewel of El Perelló, a municipality in the Baix Ebre comarca that treasures several beaches and coves of great quality and beauty, of different types, strategically set apart from the town. Occupancy is quite low, even in high season, which makes them even more attractive.

Cala Moros, about 70 metres long by six wide, is bathed by calm waters, which can have moderate swell on windier days. Platja de Cala Moros is easy to reach on foot, by bike or by car. The area is also part of the GR-92 hiking route and includes a beautiful stretch of viewpoints between Cala Garretes and Punta de l’Àliga.

The town centre of El Perelló is about two and a half kilometres from Cala Moros. We recommend you visit another of the gems of this Ebre municipality, the Torre dels Moros, a Visigothic-era watchtower that is a privileged lookout over the Ebro Delta.
