More information

Of considerable size, about 500 metres long by about 10 wide, Platja de Santa Llúcia is a fine-pebble beach that stands out for its natural beauty, gentle entry into the sea and crystal-clear waters. The beach is lined by a wide promenade flanked by pines and agaves that ends at a rocky outcrop where you can fish. Platja de Santa Llúcia is part of the Mediterranean Path (GR-92) that runs along the length of the coastal path (camí de ronda), so the beach is much appreciated by hiking lovers.

Platja de Santa Llúcia is also very rich environmentally and is home to a great variety of marine species. This, together with the quality of its waters, makes it an ideal place for snorkelling.

A distinctive feature of this beach is that every year it hosts the festivities and a night party on 14 and 15 August, with a community dinner and music, and a series of family activities ending in a spectacular fireworks display.
