Honey of el Perelló and Honey of Arnes

The climate and the great variety of flowers growing in the municipality of Arnes, in the Terra Alta region, especially rosemary, thyme, lavender and almond blossom, make it an ideal place to collect top-quality honey with an excellent flavour. And, like Arnes, el Perelló has become one of the last places in Tarragona with traditional beekeepers.

The "honey village", as this town is known for its long beekeeping tradition, is the leading producer of orange-blossom and rosemary honey in Catalonia, and one of the only places where honey is made in winter.
