Poblat Ibèric del Coll del Moro
The Iberian site of the Coll del Moro in Gandesa stands on top of a hill with views over much of the Terra Alta. Notable is an elliptical tower that was part of the settlement's defensive structure.

Finds from archaeological surveys suggest that the settlement was founded in the 6th century BC. In addition, the many remains of Phoenician and Greek pottery found confirm the links between the Iberians and the ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean.
The settlement was abandoned in the 1st century AD, coinciding with the consolidation of Roman power in these lands. Near the settlement, a group of pre-Iberian necropolises survives, with circular funerary structures made of stone.
