MOSTRA FRONT
FRONT, the International Film Showcase on Conflict and Peace, is a touring festival across several towns in Terres de l'Ebre, where the mark of the Battle of the Ebro is especially evident.

The festival aims to encourage reflection through cinema, and so offers a selection of films (fiction, non-fiction, animation, etc.) to create a dialogue between conflicts of the past and the present, near and far. It is more than eighty years since the end of the Spanish Civil War, but the conflict can still be seen on the façades of houses in many villages, in the old trenches scattered across the mountains and in the shelters built in the cities.
The mark, however, is above all emotional: the conflict was closed in a false way and the debate on collective memory is alive.
