Tortosa relives the last days of the Siege of Tortosa, where the smell of gunpowder and the parades of troops fill the city's streets and recreate one of the most decisive periods in the history of Catalonia: the War of the Spanish Succession.

Visitors can experience live the decisive battle that put an end to one of the harshest sieges of the past, can visit the Miquelets' camp to see what daily life was like in a city under siege, and can discover Tortosa's fortifications in the company of those who defended them.
The Miquelets de Catalunya (Catalan militiamen), together with the Amics dels Castells, are the stars of these days, which combine historical re-enactment and the popularisation of history with the city as the stage.
