Castell de Sant Joan d'Algars
Surrounded by unspoilt nature on the right bank of the Algars River, you can see the remains of the Old Castle of Sant Joan. Located on the outskirts of Batea, the fortress preserves a pointed arch, part of a tower and some stretches of wall.

At the foot of the castle stands the small Gothic church of Sant Joan d'Algars, from which there is a magnificent view of the valley, with the river snaking along the bottom.
