The Coll del Moro archaeological park and the historic centre of Gandesa hold great episodes of love and war.
The Templar church of l'Assumpció, the streets, the palaces and the Wine Cathedral (by Cèsar Martinell, a disciple of Gaudí) speak of a town that hosted a royal wedding and courts, was a Illustrious and Heroic town facing the Carlist Cabrera, was the direct front line in the Battle of the Ebro and the command headquarters of General Franco.
