More information

El Trabucador stretches for 7 kilometres, forming a natural isthmus that links the Ebro Delta with Punta de la Banya and leaves two distinct beaches on either side: an outer one, bathed by the Mediterranean, and an inner one, which forms Alfacs Bay, the most important natural harbour in Europe and a place of pilgrimage for many species of waterbirds. Currently, this journey along the sandy strip can be made by car for only 2 kilometres, and on foot or by bike for 6.5 kilometres.

On the inner side of Platja del Trabucador, in Alfacs Bay, the water is shallow, which makes it an ideal place for beginners in water sports and activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing or paddle surfing, among others.

There is also a long artificial-wood walkway on the Trabucador quay that extends into Alfacs Bay and is a unique place to capture images, especially at sunset. Sunsets with the mountains, the town of La Ràpita or the Salines de la Trinitat in the background are spectacular. The ‘golden hour’.
