Platja del Far
Platja del Far, in La Ràpita, in the Terres de l’Ebre, lies next to the Lighthouse of the port of Els Alfacs, first lit in 1864. It is also known as Platja de la Senieta because the port of Els Alfacs stands right on Punta de la Senieta.

Small, about 97 metres long by about 23 wide, Platja del Far has fine golden sand and calm, crystal-clear waters. Being very close to the town centre and having several extra services makes it a very popular beach, especially in high season.
These services include an ice cream and refreshments kiosk, showers and portable toilets, as well as a car park. Beside the promenade there is also a wide choice of bars and restaurants serving excellent dishes of La Ràpita and Ebre seafaring cuisine.
If you love water sports, less than a kilometre and a half from Platja del Far is the Club Nàutic de La Ràpita which, besides its 489 moorings, also lets you try a wide variety of water sports such as rowing, dinghy and cruising sailing, kayaking and swimming, among others.
