To the Fangar Lighthouse
Thanks to its uniqueness and the way it stands out in the arid surroundings, the Fangar lighthouse is one of the most characteristic architectural and landscape symbols of the Terres de l'Ebre.

More information
The Punta del Fangar is a 410-hectare peninsula that juts into the sea north of the mouth of the Ebro, facing Fangar Bay, with different natural environments: beach, shifting and fixed dunes, sandy ground and bay.
The peninsula is about 6 km long and 3 km wide at its widest, up to its tip, which is called the Punta del Fangar.
It is an important protected nesting area for terns and gulls, among other seabirds. It is also an important refuge for many reptiles, insects, small mammals and some amphibians.
On this route we recommend walking from the la Marquesa beach car park to the Fangar Lighthouse, along the water's edge, between the dunes and the sea.
